About me
Hello everyone! I am Martina. I moved from Milan to Belgium to finish my biotech thesis and stayed to build a hands-on studio. Artina started by accident: a friend asked for last-minute wedding favors, and I hand-poured almost 2 kg of soy candles over one weekend. I loved the mix of lab-level precision and making something people actually use. I’ve since moved beyond favours to small-batch pieces for home and gifting!
About Artina
Everything is made by me: to create my vessels I use a non-toxic, water-based eco resin, while my candles are made 100% in soy-wax. Even my labels are designed, printed and (obv) attached by me. I source from Europe with a main focus on Italy, Belgium, and the Netherlands, so everything is completely local. You will not find any plastic in my products or packaging, with the only exception of my glossy bioplastic labels.
About us
I run a one-person studio, but this isn’t a solo project. My fiancé is the first to test every scent, the calm voice when I overthink, and the one who carries boxes when I’ve made them too heavy. He keeps the spreadsheets honest, the deadlines real, and the bar high. Permanent #1 fan, and a big reason I can focus on making good work. This is all for you.
